Katun’s Arivia lineup features 11 A3 models across the monochrome and color space. Below, Katun’s Vice President of Hardware and Business Solutions, Tony Ko, shares key details about the devices. 

All 11 devices feature print, copy and scan as standard features, with fax as an available option.

Key advantages include easy serviceability, with toners and drums designed to be as simple to replace as desktop printer cartridges, reducing maintenance time. 

All Katun equipment is based on LED printhead technology for energy efficiency. Most engines use long-life developers that may never need replacing depending on the number of pages printed over the device’s lifespan. Lower-speed mono devices do not use separate developers. 

Katun aims to offer better and more consistent color output compared to competitors. Katun’s low-melt chemical toners offer vibrant color reproduction, exceptional detail and crisp and defined halftones, all while operating at lower temperatures. Unlike some competitors’ low-melt toners, Katun’s toners offer exceptional print and fusing performance without sacrificing temperature sensitivity during transportation. 

All models feature dual-sided single-scan document feeders as a standard feature. Higher output devices have larger paper capacities with standard trays, with additional options for greater handling if needed. PostScript, something that is often an option, is also standard on Katun devices. 

Security features meet industry standards, ensuring robust data protection, and include protocols such as network user authentication, IP and MAC address filtering, SSD encryption, secure print, as well as TPM 2.0 and WPA3 to ensure hardware and data security. 

Arivia models offer standard Ethernet and USB connectivity with optional Wi-Fi and fax connectivity. The equipment supports both Apple AirPrint and Mopria mobile print services as well as Wi-Fi direct.
